5 years agoNew York Knicks power forward/center Taj Gibson saw a larger role in the team’s offense during Friday’s loss to the New Orleans Pelicans with both Julius Randle and Marcus Morris unavailable. He finished a perfect 8-for-8 from the floor en route to a 19-point showing, which set a new season high. He also corralled eight rebounds across his 26 minutes, giving a glimpse into where his numbers could sit if the Knicks’ injuries woes should continue. His DFS price tag gives him speculative upside Sunday against Miami, although he’ll need to string together a few more outings like Friday's before he earns season-long consideration.--Jesse Borek
