His strong performance comes at a crucial time for the 10-year veteran, who will have power forward Dario Saric joining the roster as soon as Wednesday, creating a potential strain on his playing time. While his season high in scoring is encouraging looking ahead, move with trepidation as it pertains to Gibson until it’s seen how head coach Tom Thibodeau handles the minutes situation with Saric and Robert Covington being added to the fold.
