5 years agoFree agent power forward Taj Gibson will join the New York Knicks next season, but the veteran finds himself in an unenviable position in terms of playing time. The Knicks signed two younger bigs, Julius Randle and Bobby Portis, who will likely be prioritized on a young New York squad, leaving Gibson to be a veteran presence whose actual playing time is likely to vary. As the fourth big on the team, he’s unlikely to be a huge fantasy contributor, making this a tough move for a player who started 139 of the 152 games he played as a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
