7 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves forward Taj Gibson has struggled mightily against the No. 1 seeded Rockets. During his four regular season meetings against Houston, Gibson averaged an underwhelming 8.5 points and an equally unimpressive 3.8 boards per game, both well below his averages of 12.2 points and 7.1 boards per outing. He has also failed to hit his value in any of those contests during that span and will be going up against a Rockets team that is ranked in the top five against opposing power forwards during the 2018 campaign. He has also been dealing with neck soreness and if Game 1 gets out of hand, Gibson could find himself sitting earlier than expected.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
