5 years agoBrooklyn Nets forward Taurean Prince tallied 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists, four threes, and a steal in Wednesday's 101-91 win over the Charlotte Hornets. Prince got his three-ball going, shooting 4-9 after going just 5-20 in his last three games. The 25-year-old has benefited from the absence of Kevin Durant as well as Brooklyn's lack of a true power forward. His 29.7 minutes per game as a stretch four have helped him to career-highs in rebounds, 6.2 and three-pointers per game, 2.5. If he can improve upon his current shooting percentage on two-pointers, 43.1, he'll have a chance to post the best numbers of his career. Prince and the Nets will next play Friday against the Sacramento Kings, who allow the eighth-fewest three-point attempts in the league.--Tim Capurso
