3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves small/power forward Taurean Prince (knee) has been cleared to suit up for Game 1 of the Western Conference playoffs vs. Memphis on Sunday as he battles right knee inflammation. The ailment caused Prince to miss the regular-season finale, but he should return to his role as a solid source of scoring production among the second unit. Prince averaged 10.5 PPG during the second half, including scoring in double figures in 10 of his final 13 regular-season outings. He, like all of his teammates, stands to benefit from the high-octane pace that the two teams are expected to play at, with both ranking in the top three in the league.--Jesse Borek
