Taurean Prince Scores in Double Figures For Fourth Straight Game
6 years agoAtlanta Hawks small forward Taurean Prince scored 15 points on 6-for-12 shooting from the field and 2-for-5 from beyond the arc in Friday night's loss to the Thunder. He also chipped in three rebounds, two assists, one block, and two steals in 34 minutes. It was his fourth straight game of scoring in double figures. While the 24-year-old has filled the stat sheet the past two games, his statistical contributions in the other categories are minuscule in comparison to other players. Prince is averaging 12.6 points along with 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists over the last five games. On a positive note, the third-year pro cut his turnovers by two a game (from- 3.9-to-1.9) in November, although he did turn the ball over three times against the Thunder. Prince, who is making a career-best 2.4 triples a game, will look to extend his streak of multiple three-pointers to five straight games in a tough matchup against Kevin Durant and the Warriors on Monday.
