Taysom Hill To Play Multiple Roles, Including Quarterback

2 years agoNew Orleans Saints head coach Dennis Allen provided an update on the team's plans for its versatile offensive player Taysom Hill this week. Allen stated that Hill is "going to provide multiple roles for us" while adding that he'll "still take some snaps from the quarterback position." Hill threw 134 passes last season, but he was primarily used as a rusher, oftentimes rushing out of the quarterback position. He carried the ball 70 times for 374 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 5.3 yards per carry. Tight end figures to technically be his primary position. However, that was also the case last year and he certainly didn't function as a typical pass-catching tight end, receiving just six targets on the year.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
