6 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tevin Coleman had a mixed night against the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. The overall numbers look good as Coleman rushed 11 times for 50 yards, including a 30-yard touchdown, adding two receptions for 32 yards. However, what makes this a mixed night for Coleman is how the yards came. 44 of his 50 rushing yards came on two rushes, his first of the night and the touchdown run. On the remaining nine rushes he totaled just six yards. Ultimately all that matters is that the numbers were there but this performance is unlikely to have convinced the Falcons Coleman deserves more attempts going forward.--Ben Rolfe
