Thaddeus Young Drops Season-High 18 Points In First Start
5 years agoChicago Bulls power forward Thaddeus Young entered the starting five for Wednesday’s loss to the New Orleans Pelicans without Wendell Carter Jr. in the mix, leading to Young going for a season-high 18 points on 7-for-16 overall, including 3-for-7 from long range. The start marked the first of the year for Young, whose role off the bench has been fairly limited. But by being handed 35 minutes (also a season high), Young was able to have a breakout fantasy night with six rebounds, three steals and two assists also to his credit. Should Carter be absent Friday versus Indiana, Young could present a solid low-end DFS play if his price tag remains in check.
