Thaddeus Young Shows Up Against Lakers
7 years agoIndiana Pacers forward Thaddeus Young showed up to play against the Lakers on Monday. Young scored 18 points, shooting an efficient 9-for-12 from the field. He also came one rebound away from acquiring a double-double, finishing the night with nine boards in addition to four assists and two blocks. Young took advantage of the absence of forward Domantas Sabonis (ankle), who is also slated to miss Wednesday’s matchup against New Orleans. He should continue to see extra time on the floor while Sabonis is out as well as see a minor increase in both offensive and defensive ratings and usage percentage. With the Pelicans being known as a team that likes to push the pace, Young will have ample opportunity to put up some fantasy numbers on Wednesday.
