6 years agoWashington Wizards center Thomas Bryant scored eight points on 3-for-4 shooting from the field, including 0-for-1 from the three-point line and 2-for-2 from the charity stripe, in Monday's victory over the Knicks. He chipped in six rebounds and an assist in 19 minutes. It was the 21-year-old's eighth straight start and also his eighth consecutive game of seeing 12 or more minutes on the floor, which includes receiving 19 minutes of playing time in each of his last three contests. The second-year pro is averaging 7.3 points as well as nearly seven rebounds a game over this three-game stretch. With Dwight Howard (glutes) expected to be out until at least February, Bryant figures to keep seeing around 20 minutes of action.--Daniel Benjamin
