5 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward/center Thon Maker collected the second double-double of his career during Monday’s defeat to the Charlotte Hornets, setting a new career high with 12 rebounds in the process. Maker appears entrenched as the team’s starting center moving forward, and while he saw just 24 minutes Monday, he shot 5-for-10 from the field and collected 12 points to go along with two blocks. He will likely need to string together multiple outings in the same ilk before he draws considerable season-long intrigue, but he holds solid DFS value Wednesday as he will likely be tasked with slowing Magic center Nikola Vucevic, paving the way for ample rebounding opportunities.--Jesse Borek
