7 years agoTiger Woods may not have won the Arnold Palmer Invitational, but for a moment Sunday it felt like he would. A back-nine charge, highlighted by three birdies in four holes, got him within one shot of the lead. But an errant tee shot on the par-five 16th and a bogey on the par-three 17th all but ended his chances. Still, given his current form, it's hard to imagine he won't win sooner rather than later. It could even happen when he tees it up next at the Masters, a tournament he has won four times. Vegas oddsmakers have even made him the early favorite to take home the green jacket.--cmangano
