4 years agoThe Detroit Tigers officially released their 60-man roster. It included starting pitcher prospects Casey Mize, Tarik Skubal and Matt Manning. Outfielder Riley Greene also made the roster. Mize, Manning, Skubal and Greene are Detroit's top four prospects, according to MLB.com. Mize was the No. 1 pick in the 2018 MLB draft and performed well in the minors. Speaking of performing well in the minors, Manning had a 10.0 K/9 and 2.58 ERA in Double-A last season, while Skubal had a ridiculous 17.4 K/9 and a 2.13 ERA in Double-A. Manning, Skubal and Mize will likely land on the taxi squad and all appear likely to make their MLB debut this season. The 19-year-old Greene is moving through the organization ahead of schedule after his dominant play in the Grapefruit League.--Jakob Ashlin
