Tim Anderson Activated, Leading Off On Monday
3 years agoThe Chicago White Sox have activated shortstop Tim Anderson (groin) from the 10-day injured list. He will be batting leadoff in Monday's series opener against the Toronto Blue Jays. Anderson was sidelined for about three weeks with a strained right groin. The 28-year-old has been held to just 40 games this year due to injuries, but he's been fantastic when he's been on the field. Over those 40 games, he's slashed .356/.393/.503 with five home runs, eight stolen bases, 19 RBI and 24 runs.
