Tim Hardaway Jr. Sinks Four Three-Pointers
6 years agoNew York Knicks shooting guard/small forward Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 23 points on 7-for-14 shooting from the field, 4-for-9 from beyond the arc, and 5-for-6 from the free throw line in Monday's loss to the Thunder. The 26-year-old added two rebounds, three assists, and one steal. It was just the second 20-point game in his last six outings and third in the past 11 games. The 6-foot-6 wing, who has seen fewer than 30 minutes of floor time in each of his previous six contests, is shooting 40.7 percent from the floor in January, which is his best mark since October. However, he is averaging a season-low 14.1 points a game this month as he is attempting only 11.6 shots a contest. Hardaway will look to extend his streak of at least one three-pointer to nine straight games against the Rockets on Wednesday.
