3 years agoOakland Athletics second baseman Tony Kemp is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against left-hander Ryan Yarbrough and the Tampa Bay Rays. Chad Pinder will be leading off for the game with Sheldon Neuse covering the keystone. Kemp has been the team's primary leadoff hitter this year. Over 22 games, he's slashing .234/.318/.260 with two stolen bases and nine runs scored. He has a strikeout rate of just 12.5%, which ranks in the 91st percentile.
