Tony Parker Gets 12 Points Off the Bench
7 years agoSan Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker came off the bench for the first time since 2010 in Sunday's 94-86 loss to the Indiana Pacers. In total, it was just the 21st time in Parker's career that he had to settle for a bench role. He's been awful this month, so it looks like head coach Gregg Popovich used the benching to light the fire inside the Frenchman again. It worked, as Parker had a solid outing, getting 12 points in 20 minutes on 5-for-10 shooting. He also had five assists, three rebounds and a steal.
