4 years agoAtlanta Hawks shooting guard Tony Snell (Achilles) has been ruled out for Monday's contest versus the Wizards. Snell has dealt with persistent Achilles issues during the second half of the year, but he has managed to start each of the previous five games for Atlanta. His absence likely opens the door for a returning De'Andre Hunter (knee) to snag his minutes. Even when healthy, Snell's role in the Hawks' offense has been minimal, not having hoisted more than five shot attempts in a game since March 22. His next opportunity to get back into action comes Wednesday against Washington.--Jesse Borek
