Matz endured a brutal 2020 season that saw him post a 9.68 ERA over 30.2 innings, but the 29-year-old has shown flashes of success during his major-league career, and he's been emphasizing a changeup (18.6% swinging-strike rate in 2020) in recent seasons that should help provide him with additional strikeouts and boost his fantasy value. With the Mets bolstering their offense this offseason and the Blue Jays likely to play in Buffalo this season, this trade likely hurts Matz's fantasy value, but he still has the upside to remain on the radar of fantasy managers.--Sam Chinitz
