5 years agoAtlanta Hawks guard Trae Young did his work on Thursday in the 17-point win over the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons had no answer for the young gun as he recorded 38 points on 11 of 21 shooting from the floor, 6-for-10 shooting from three and he also connected on 10 of 12 at the line. He did not stop there as he added seven rebounds to go along with nine assists with a steal, but he did convert six turnovers in 37 minutes of action. Young recorded a career-high 26 points by the half and definitely lived up to the hype on this night. Expect a monster year from the second-year sniper and owners have to be pleased with this season debut.--Gianni Costantiello
