Trae Young Lights Up MSG For 42 Points
5 years agoAtlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young was on target from three-point range against the Knicks, canning seven of 13 attempts and 16 of 29 overall to finish with 42 points, eight assists and four rebounds. A good chunk of Young's points came in garbage time of a 23-point loss -- not that his fantasy owners care. He is in the top five this season in both scoring and assists -- one of only two players to do so with Luka Doncic. The Hawks are just 6-22 on the year and continue to surrender an ungodly amount of points to below-average teams. There's only so much Young can do to help lift Atlanta out of the Eastern Conference cellar, but if his numbers are any indication, he's certainly going to put forth quite the effort.
