5 years agoAtlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young followed up his historic 50-point scoring performance with a 25-point, 10-assist double-double during Saturday’s victory over the Dallas Mavericks. Young logged 40 minutes for the second straight outing, grabbing six rebounds and shooting 10-for-21 overall, including 3-for-8 from behind the arc. After being held firmly in check earlier this season by the team that drafted him, Young compiled his 22nd double-double of the year. His next matchup comes against a Philadelphia defense that has been excellent in 2019-20, but was thoroughly fileted by Young back on Jan. 30 when he went for 39 points and 18 assists.--Jesse Borek
