6 years agoAtlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young struggled to leave his mark on the game in Sunday's matchup with the Pistons, shooting 0-for-3 from deep and committing six turnovers. He finished with 12 points on 4-for-14 overall shooting. On the positive side, Young posted a new career high with seven rebounds and he picked up a couple of steals. The rookie from Oklahoma has actually done well recently, recording a few double-doubles, but his performances tend to differ like day and night. Jeremy Lin, who had 10 points and four assists in 17 minutes on Sunday, is looking sharper with each outing, so there's good competition for minutes at the point guard position.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
