4 years agoAtlanta Hawks guard Trae Young exploded for 38 points with four assists, three rebounds, three triples, and a steal in a 108-99 win over the Clippers. Young missed Sunday's game with back tightness, though he picked up right where he left off in his return to the court. He was mired in a shooting slump but has averaged 39.7 points, 6.3 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per game on 52.1/58.3/83.7 percent shooting splits over his last three contests. It's safe to say that Young has busted out of his slump and has a favorable outlook for Wednesday's matchup against the Nets, who have ceded a 25.5 points per game average to the star guard in two contests this season.--Tim Capurso
