Trae Young Scores Efficient 28 points
3 years agoOn a night where Stephen Curry had 50 points, Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young did his best to keep up, but it wasn't enough in a blowout loss. The 23-year-old wasn't all that close to the two-time MVP, but he shot the ball well and seems to be turning a corner in that regard. In 32 minutes, Young had 28 points on 11-for-20 shooting, nine assists, three rebounds, a steal and four threes. The 55 percent field-goal rate marked the first time since the season's third game that Young made more than half his shots, and he's also drained four threes in back-to-back games. So if there was a buy-low window open for Young, it seems to be closing rapidly.
