6 years agoAtlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young picked up his 14th double-double of the season during Monday’s win over the Washington Wizards despite a poor shooting outing. Young finished with 10 points on 2-for-13 shooting, including a 1-for-6 effort from deep. His stat line was bailed out by his 10 dimes, as well as the four boards he snagged while committing just one turnover. The rookie continues to have seesaw scoring performances just 53 games into his NBA career, but he has averaged 9.0 assists per game over his last seven contests in the Hawks’ high-octane offense, well on his way to All-Rookie First Team honors.--Jesse Borek
