4 years agoAtlanta Hawks guard Trae Young had a monster stat line in Sunday's win over Denver. Young dropped 35 points with 15 assists, six rebounds, four triples, and a steal in 36 minutes. He was too much for the Nuggets to handle in this one- and they couldn't even stop him by fouling, as he knocked down 11 of his 13 attempts from the line. There have been four 35-point, 15-assist games in Hawks franchise history since 1980- and Young has them all. Over his last three contests, he's averaging 35.3 points, 11.3 assists, 4.3 rebounds, 3.6 treys, and 2.0 steals per game on 61.8/47.8/90 shooting splits. Young plays on Tuesday against the Cavs, who held him to just 16 points in January, though they'll be hard-pressed to do that again.--Tim Capurso
