4 years agoToronto Blue Jays corner infielder Travis Shaw slapped a walk-off single to push the team past the Marlins 5-4 in extra innings on Tuesday. Bo Bichette was intentionally walked to load the bases ahead of Shaw in the tenth before delivering the game-winning hit to right field. It was his first RBI of the season as he finished the game going 2-for-5, upping his batting average to .240 on the year. Shaw has had a sluggish start in the power department but has managed to settle into the three-hole for the Jays over the last three games.
