4 years agoCincinnati Reds pitcher Trevor Bauer gave the Detroit Tigers all kinds of fits in his season debut. He pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowing two hits, one walk and one earned run while recording a whopping 13 strikeouts. The only run came on a solo home run from Niko Goodrum in the third inning. Bauer exited the game while it was tied 1-1, so he didn't factor into the decision. It's an encouraging start to the year for Bauer, who will face the Tigers again in his second start of the year on Friday.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
