2 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Trevor Story (hand) is being held out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Jeter Downs will be covering the keystone and batting eighth in the game. Story injured his right hand during Tuesday's game when he was hit by a pitch. He underwent X-rays after the game and the X-rays came back negative. He is day-to-day at this point. The 29-year-old has struggled in his first year outside of Coors Field. Over 81 games, he's hit .221/.289/.423 with 15 home runs, 10 stolen bases, 58 RBI and 49 runs.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
