3 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Trevor Story notched his third multi-hit game of the year against the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday. He went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles and three RBI in the game. Story is off to an extremely underwhelming start to his Red Sox career. Through 20 games, he's slashing .221/.307/.312 with seven doubles, nine RBI and eight runs. He's still searching for his first home run in a Red Sox jersey. The 29-year-old has some concerning underlying metrics, including a 32% hard-hit rate, down from 42.6% last year. He has an xSLG of just .343, which ranks in the bottom 18% of the league. Hopefully Story can get things together soon. Fantasy managers should resist trading him for pennies on the dollar while his season-long stats look as ugly as they do right now.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
