Trey Burke Has Career Night Against Charlotte
7 years agoNew York Knicks point guard Trey Burke dominated the stat sheet in Monday night's overtime loss to the Charlotte Hornets. Burke finished with a career-high 42 points on 19-for-31 shooting and 12 assists in 41 minutes. Burke slashed and dashed through the lane to score his highest point total since dropping 32 points back in 2014 and became the first Knick with at least 40 points and 10 assists since Stephon Marbury did it in 2005. Burke has been rejuvenated in New York and continues to impress his coaching staff. Burke and the Knicks travel to Philadelphia on Wednesday to take on the streaking 76ers, who have won seven straight games.
