6 years agoFeel free to refer to Wednesday’s game against the Boston Celtics as the “Trey Burke Game,” as the New York Knicks point guard delivered a massive performance off the bench, finishing with 29 points, 11 assists and six rebounds. His three-point bucket with 12 seconds remaining put the cap on the Knicks’ win and was the icing on his best night of the season. Emmanuel Mudiay drew the start Wednesday, but played just 19 minutes. Don’t expect this elite-level of performance from Burke every time out, but he can still make a legitimate case for more run as New York’s primary point guard from here on out.--Jesse Borek
