Trey Burke Ruled Out For Monday’s Game
6 years agoNew York Knicks point guard Trey Burke has been ruled out for Monday’s contest against the Washington Wizards due to a right knee sprain. Burke picked up the injury during Saturday’s game against Milwaukee, leading to Emmanuel Mudiay taking the reins at the point. It’s likely that Mudiay sees extended minutes Monday, as Frank Ntilikina, the only other active point guard, earned a DNP-coach’s decision Saturday. Burke’s next chance to suit up comes Thursday against the Boston Celtics, whom he scorched for 29 points back on Nov. 21.
