5 years agoCleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson scored a career-high 35 points with 14 rebounds, three assists, three blocks, and a steal in a 115-112 win over the Detroit Pistons. Thompson was a beast in the paint and active on the glass en route to the best scoring performance of his career. This game came out of nowhere for him, as his last three contests were poor offensively. Thompson is having an excellent season, with career-highs in points, minutes and rebounds. He'll have his work cut out for him on Saturday though, as he'll face off with All-Star center Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.--Tim Capurso
