5 years agoCleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson (knee) has his status up in the air for Wednesday’s game versus the Boston Celtics. Thompson, who had reentered the starting five over his last two appearances, has been absent from each of Cleveland’s last two games, paving the way for Larry Nance Jr. to see a larger workload. With Andre Drummond (calf) already ruled out Wednesday, Thompson would likely retain his spot in the starting five should he ultimately be cleared to suit up. In three meetings against the Celtics this season, Thompson has averaged 16 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.--Jesse Borek
