4 years agoBoston Celtics forward/center Tristan Thompson will play in "short bursts" on Wednesday against the New York Knicks. Thompson is returning to play after sitting since March 14, and head coach Brad Stevens does not want to push the veteran big man in his return. Thompson is nothing more than a rebounding streamer at this point with Robert Williams III thriving as the starter. Thompson's return is a threat to Williams' minutes, though, so the situation is something to keep an eye on, especially if the rotations change for any reason.--Dale Johnson - RotoBaller
