5 years agoWashington Wizards shooting guard Troy Brown had his third double-double of the season on Wednesday night. In a 123-89 blowout loss to the Orlando Magic, Brown posted a stat line of 18 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. It was his second double-double in his last three games. Brown has played at least 31 minutes in his previous four games and recorded double-digit points and at least seven rebounds in all of them. The Wizards were short-handed on Wednesday with all their injuries, but Brown has proven that he deserves his fair share of minutes, even after the regular starters return from injury.--Euan Leith
