Troy Brown Scuffles Amid Career-High 18 Shot Attempts
5 years agoThe opportunity for a massive output was there for Washington Wizards shooting guard/small forward Troy Brown during Saturday’s loss to the New York Knicks, but following a 4-for-18 shooting performance, Brown will have to settle for merely a solid outing. Even with the pile of missed shots, he still collected nine points and stacked the stat sheet to the tune of eight rebounds, three assists and three steals in his season-high 38 minutes. Brown entered the starting five with Bradley Beal (leg) out, a role that he would likely retain Monday against Miami should Beal’s condition not improve. Either way, Brown has the upside to have earned himself legitimate fantasy consideration in most medium-sized formats for the time being.
