Troy Brown Shines With A Season-High Off The Bench For The Wizards
5 years agoWashington Wizards wing Troy Brown had his best outing of the season against the Clippers on Sunday, scoring 22 points on 9-for-12 shooting to go with five rebounds, four assists, and two steals in 35 minutes. Everything about this performance was an outlier for the sophomore. He hadn't scored in double-digits since November 26 and hadn't scored over 20 points all season. The 35 minutes were also a season-high thanks to the absence of Isaiah Thomas and his first north of 30 in over a month. Brown is a talented prospect on a fantasy-friendly Wizards team, but until he streams together some consistency, it's hard to see this breakout outing becoming anything close to the norm anytime soon.
