Troy Daniels Makes A Case For More Minutes
5 years agoLos Angeles Lakers guard Troy Daniels made his case to get more playing time with a solid performance against the Utah Jazz on Friday night. Daniels, who may be best remembered for his game-winning three-point shot in the 2014 playoffs for the Houston Rockets, was tied for the fourth-most minutes on the Lakers in the win and made the most of them. He scored 15 points along with three rebounds and one steal. This was a better stat line than his teammates Quinn Cook and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope were able to produce. Fantasy owners in 10 and 12-team leagues may want to keep him on their watch list for now, but for owners in deeper leagues, it can't hurt to make a speculative add at what could be the third-best offensive option for the Lakers this season.
