3 years agoCincinnati Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart went 2-for-3 with two RBI in a 7-4 win over the Chicago Cubs. Barnhart drove in both Joey Votto and Tyler Naquin with a two-run single in the sixth inning to give the Reds a 4-3 lead. The veteran catcher is now hitting .266 with four homers, 31 runs, and 31 RBI over 229 at-bats. Barnhart has cooled off at the plate of late, hitting just .227 over his past seven games. He should continue to split starts with upstart rookie Tyler Stephenson going forward.--Matt T - RotoBaller
