2 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Ty France has been added to the American League All-Star team roster. He will be taking the roster spot of Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (back), who will be using the All-Star break to rest his back. This will be the first All-Star game appearance for France, who is in the midst of a strong season. Across 78 games, he's slashed .306/.376/.461 with 10 home runs, 47 RBI and 34 runs. He's maintained a career-low 15.0% strikeout rate across the year and his .366 wOBA ranks in the 91st percentile of the majors.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
