4 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point guard Ty Jerome (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's contest against the Rockets. Jerome's absence will work against the Thunder's PG depth, as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is set to serve as the team's starting point with George Hill pitching in off the bench. The Thunder acquired Jerome this off-season from Phoenix, where he averaged just 3.3 points per game as a rookie last year. He has an uphill battle to cracking the rotation with consistency, with his next chance at making his team and season debut coming Saturday versus Charlotte.--Jesse Borek
