Tyler Johnson Scuffles In First Contest With Suns
6 years agoPhoenix Suns point/shooting guard Tyler Johnson got off to a less than ideal start with his new team during Friday’s loss to the Golden State Warriors. After it was expected that Johnson would immediately enter the starting five, he instead came off the bench and finished 1-for-9 overall across 28 minutes of action. Johnson finished with five points, two assists and two steals, but owners certainly expected more with ample shot opportunities available. He should still be presented with plenty of chances to fill up the stat sheet over the next handful of weeks, including Sunday versus the Sacramento Kings, who are allowing the fifth-most points per game this season.
