Tyler Stephenson Drives In Two
3 years agoCincinnati Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson went 1-for-4 with a two-run double in a 10-2 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Saturday. Stephenson's sixth-inning double brought home both Jesse Winker and Eugenio Suarez and would be the only offense the Reds would get on the afternoon. Stephenson's bat has been solid in his rookie year, with him hitting .260 with two homers, 12 runs, and 11 RBI across 100 at-bats. While he continues to play behind Tucker Barnhart at catcher, the team has been giving Stephenson at-bats at first base while Joey Votto is on the injured list. Fantasy gamers in a tough spot at the catcher position could do a whole lot worse than rostering Stephenson going forward.
