Tyler Stephenson Taking The Day Off
3 years agoCincinnati Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Chicago Cubs. Stephenson will get a breather after starting in each of the team's last seven games. The 25-year-old has been a must-start at the weakest position in fantasy on a bad Reds team, as he's slashing a healthy .295/.358/.484 with an .843 OPS, four home runs, 21 RBI, 13 runs scored and one stolen base in 95 at-bats. Aramis Garcia will do the catching on Wednesday and is hitting eighth against Cubs right-hander Kyle Hendricks. Garcia is 9-for-50 (.180) with a solo home run in 20 games played for the Reds this year. He's a low-upside DFS backstop that should be avoided.
