Tyler Zeller Signs Deal With Spurs
4 years agoFree-agent center Tyler Zeller has signed a deal with the San Antonio Spurs. The contract is for the rest of the season, so he'll join the team in Orlando for the NBA restart in July. The Spurs lost LaMarcus Aldridge (shoulder) for the rest of the season, so Zeller is expected to take some of those minutes. However, Trey Lyles, Jakob Poeltl and possibly Rudy Gay will be asked to step up as well. Zeller hasn't played in the NBA since the 2018 season when he played in a handful of games with the Memphis Grizzlies and Atlanta Hawks. He is mainly a depth signing and won't have much fantasy value on the Spurs.
